COLLECTORS EXCLUSIVE – LIMITED EDITION BOOK

Photographs by PAUL YULE

ROWAN ATKINSON was developing his comic genius long before the success of Mr. Bean or Blackadder. In the late 1970s and early ’80s, he starred in several Revues – first at Oxford, then on The Edinburgh Fringe and beyond – collaborating with the likes of Richard Curtis, Howard Goodall, Angus Deayton, Tim McInnerny, Helen Fielding and others.

PAUL YULE‘s superb photographs of these rising stars – as they rehearsed, performed and went on tour – are accompanied by the hilarious, original scripts by Atkinson and Curtis, as well as by posters and programme notes. This is a unique, intimate portrait of a generation of talent that would soon take the world by storm.
